The International Hotel Group will provide accommodation specifically for the organizers and the international leaders. Other services that would be provided by the International Hotel Group include the lawns, equipment, conference hall, and food/tea/meals, miscellaneous, and light and sound. Therefore as a programmer manager, I will ensure that the event will be successful. The paper seeks to analyze work operations. The first section monitors the efficiencies, the level of services, and issues for adjustment. This will involve consulting with colleagues for purposes of improving service levels and new technologies that would ensure that the event is a success. This will also involve the evaluation of the emerging industry trends and at the same time assessing and responding to some of the opportunities that would improve sustainability of the daily operations.
Task One
In the meeting we discussed on how to monitor efficiencies and service levels from the feedback data. Based on the feedback data we would monitor and improve the operations of the hotel. Proper monitoring of the efficiencies and the service levels will make sure that the hotel operation will support the overall goal of the event and qualify the assurance initiatives. From the meeting we will be in a position to come up with the quality problem and issues is a prompt manner and make the appropriate adjustment with the right and the relevant approvals. The meeting would come up with procedures and systems in a mutual consultation with the colleagues for purposes of improving effectiveness and efficiency. The meeting would also come up with was of improving efficiencies and services levels that would include the aspect of new technologies and also identify and take opportunities that would evaluate the current and the emerging hotel industry trends and other practices for relevance to this harmony week event. The organization will also come up with appropriate measures that would provide feedback to the colleagues and management (Appleby, 2007). In order to provide feedback to the management and colleagues, the team will highly work on delivery, we will make sure that the feedback do not come out as a personal attack that would describe the behavior of the affected rather than their traits. Another strategy is to bring the concerned people into the discussion which will allow the hotel to ask for feedback from the visitors in return. The hotel will ask the employees for feedback more and more. The team will learn on how to communicate their feedback in an effective manner so as we can help the colleagues grow professionally and improve and conflict the productivity of the team. There is a manner in which the workplace operations supported the overall goals of the organization. The organization is structured in such a manner that different departments are well structured in the operations of the business. Such structure include the chief operating officer, strategic management team, the finance department and also the chief financial officer. Different directorates are well integrated to ensure that the goals of the company is well achieved. For instance, the finance department has finance officers that are well allocated various hotel to service. The human resource department has a devolved system with their HR representatives in the hotel additionally, the company is well staffed for purposes of providing the frontline management team with effective operation.

There are various quality problems and issues that would need to be adjusted to the system that will improve the service level for the event. Some of this issues include the inaccurate client and contact data, bigger data of the visitors that would make it difficult for the employees to focus, and also duplicate and obsolete data. Letter to Management
To: Operations Management,
From: Program Coordinator
Date:
Subject: Requesting for additional staff
On behalf of the International Hotel Group and the organizing committee for the upcoming event, I would like to request for additional staff. The event is currently understaffed thereby jeopardy the smooth flow of the operation. For this reason, I would like the company to supply us with more human capital in order to facilitate the operation of the organizing group.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Yours Sincerely,
Dennis James.
Part 3
Based on the observation that was noted during the first three days of the event. It is noted that there are some complaints that were received an employee from the Samoan background raised a complaint on the supervisor on his comments that he made on her background as soon as they arrived. Since then, the issue really affected her and as a result she has not been performing well. Additionally, other complaints have been received that the supervisor is a little bit noisy. Based on the issues that were raised it is important for the supervisor and other employees to embrace multicultural and all-inclusive work setting. The Samoan employees felt that she is not herself at work, as a result, she felt that she is not part of the organization. This form of closed environment can affect the involvement of an employee in the company, potential leading to staff morale, increased level of absentee, and also difficulties in retention. As a leader I have a responsibility of setting that multicultural tone for the shift towards inclusiveness and diversity in the company. For this reason, it is important to come up with an open, effective communication together with the clear channel for the complaint feedback that would optimize the chances for the discussions that are highly related to discrimination and inclusion. Another aspect is an educational approach that would help in negating fees that employees will have when it comes to issues that address diversity. Therefore to embrace the diversity and multicultural understanding in the workplace, it is important for the employees to learn on the cultural backgrounds, and the employee’s interest outside their place of work. It is also important to come up with an intranet base multicultural schedules for purposes of scheduling the most appropriate meeting on the major cultural holidays. It is also important for the employees to acknowledge all the cultures that are present in the workplace. In case this problem is not stopped, there is a high possibility that an individual involvement in the company will be affected negatively. As a result, the employee’s morale will greatly be affected which is linked to both discrimination and inclusion.

Part 4
To solve the problem of identification and resolution it is important to implement various problem solving processes which included identifying the issue, understanding the interest of everyone, listing some of the possible options and solution, evaluating the options, selecting the best options, documenting the agreement and lastly coming up with the agree contingencies, evaluation and monitoring. In order to rightly manage in adequate staffing, it would be prudent for the company to employee more employees and also improve the retention process in the company. In order to manage the poor performance of staff, it is important for the company to be specific with fact. It is highly encouraged to confront the staff on their respective performance. It is also important for the company to consider the need of the workers by focusing on their feedback, providing the performance support technologies and offering rewards and recognitions. This could well be applied to the company in the manner in which the company will manage their discrepancies, delays and time difficulties and also the manner in which they will but technology for purpose of satisfying the needs of its customers.
We can do it today.
