Environment bodies have taken the initiative of ensuring that they come up with respective ways of ensuring that the society is aware of the issues affecting them in a broader perspective. The paper makes a comparison between the climatic changes that takes place in New York and the city of Tokyo.

Temperatures between the Two Cities

New York

The understanding of the fact that climatic changes affect the temperature levels in the city. The city of New York is a key place that the climatic changes are quite significant. This is because the city is quite populous. The temperature levels in city have been on regular increase. This is owing to the economic activities that take place in the city (Lim, 2014). The movement of motor vehicles around the city and the running of modern day companies have affected the temperature in the city. This has led to the increase on the regular temperature that has affected the climate. The environmental bodies in the city have moved to implement laws that focus on the reduction of emission of gasses from the activities that affects the climate of the place in a creative manner.

Research indicates that the average temperature in the populated city have increased over the past few years. The temperature had risen with 2.4 degrees Celsius. This is after a period of over a century. The understanding of the temperature levels clearly indicates that the climate of the city continues to change on a daily basis (Strzepek, 2015). The understanding of the factors led to the creation of an observation of the dominant factors that could have led to the increase in the temperature levels. This is because the research also indicates that the warming process during the winter takes place with a difference of 4.4 degrees Celsius. The understanding of the changes act as an evidence for the climatic changes that is taking place is relevant.

Tokyo

There are existing similarities between Tokyo and New York. The similarities come in terms of the population and the current economic activities. The two regions are the economic hubs of their countries. This is owing to the ability of the city to come up with policies that do not address the reasons as to why the sea levels in the region are on the rise (Robinson, 2017). The rise on the sea levels means that the waters are absorbing more land. This affects the normal pattern in the city, as the scenario is likely to affect the landscape of the place.
