The management of respiratory disorders requires an evidence-based approach. In the case of bacterial pneumonia, the most effective approach to management is antibiotic treatment. Research evidence highlights the most effective antibiotics depending on the identified bacteria that are causing pneumonia (Imilda et al., 2015). Notably, antibiotic treatment clears the bacterial infection before it can cause serious damage to different organs. 

A critical analysis of the patient’s condition is that the bacterial pneumonia is not at a critical stage. For this reason, antibiotic treatment proves to be the best intervention in the case of this patient. Moreover, research evidence demonstrates that patients with respiratory disorders may require respiratory therapy that dilates the respiratory tract. It is necessary to give the patient respiratory therapy that will increase the ease of breathing. In patients with a critical case of bacterial pneumonia, it is advisable to provide oxygen supplementation. In this instance, it will be necessary to assess the oxygen saturation points and determine whether supplementation is necessary (Abaturov & Kryuchko, 2017). Health promotion can help patients prevent bacterial pneumonia. It is advisable for the patient to complete the antibiotic dosage and consume plenty of fruits and vegetables.
