Physical education is an interactive class that helps students develop sound judgments in regard personal and emotional wellbeing. This is done with the incorporation of physical activity (Chow et al., 2009). Students learn by application the importance of staying physically active. In the current era, technology is part of everyday activities (Gray et al., 2010). Consequently, teaching has also embraced the use of technology.

Learning with technology is more interactive and helps create and maintain interest in the learning activity (Gilakjani, 2017). A high school teacher can engage students in learning a second language efficiently through the use of technology is a physical education course. Tools that have been effectively used in physical education include gadgets like pedometer watches and smartphone applications. Teachers can use smartphones to deliver audiovisual resources such as videos and animated exercise guides to keep students interested in physical activity both in and out of the course. Telecommunication devices such as smartphones can deliver multimedia lessons from the teacher to the students as homework activities (Gilakjani, 2017).

A language is a tool for communication and interaction. Using technology with multimedia resources gives students enough time to interact with the lessons (Gilakjani, 2017). For instance, the physical activity sessions can be made more interesting if the videos and animated application are in the language the students are trying to learn. Through the interaction with other students and technology, the can carry home, such as smartphone applications, will help maintain and improve learning of the language. Technology, when efficiently incorporated, will make learning more exciting and have a lasting impact on the students (Gray et al., 2010). For example, phone applications can help students create their projects and monitor their progress in the learning process. The teacher can link with the student and help those lagging behind for any reason. Also, students can interact with each other outside of the class through smartphones and motivate each other to continue learning and meeting physical activity goals.
