The objectives of this study include to;
- Find out the sexual behaviors of inner-city adolescents
- To assess the sexual awareness levels of the adolescents and the corresponding health precautions
- Challenges facing the sexual health of the inner-city adolescents
with any paper
The study questions relate to the community perspectives and academic solutions to the sexual behavior and health of adolescents in the inner-city communities. The research questions include;
- What sexual behaviors and trends are observed among the target sample?
- What level of sexual education has the target sample group been exposed to before?
- Are there observed challenges facing the target sample group limiting the achievement of optimal health levels?
The sexual behaviors of inner-city communities are influenced by factors such as peer pressure, economic differences, accessibility of hard narcotics, and lack of close parental supervision (Eldredge, et al 2016). These social determinants of sexual health affect the target group due to the economic priority placed on activities within the inner-cities which limits parental guidance of adolescents (Raiford et al 2016). Access to social media and unsupervised access to adult content remain major problems (Lewallen et al 2015). Additionally, peer pressure from social circles also influences the development of sexual behaviors that are not only safe, but also psychologically damaging. The study is helpful in learning the influential factors leading to varying sexual health for inner-city adolescents (Knopf et al 2015).

By the use of mixed research, primary and secondary methods of data collection will facilitate the study. The chosen primary method is the use of questionnaires and interviews while the secondary method review of published materials such as research journals and books with in-depth analytical approach to the subject topic.
The study will comprise of 6 sections which will be arranged as following;
- Introduction: Outlining the purpose, the objectives, and the research questions of the study and the thesis statement.
- Literature Review: Comprising of brief review of previous studies and results on the subject aiding with the secondary research.
- Methodology: Comprising of the study design and the target audience for primary method.
- Results: Presenting the findings from the target sample with qualitative and quantitative data.
- Discussion: Integrating the results with theoretical framework to criticize or uphold previous findings.
- Conclusion: Restatement of the study thesis and the findings t to either approve or reject the study’s hypothesis.
